Since this month is National Sewing month I will focus on all things having to do with sewing. This includes Tuesdays Quotes and Wednesday Focus on Women. Also featured will be Contests/Giveaways from around the Web.

Ronald Reagan, USA’s 40th President, declared September as National Sewing month! “In recognition ofthe importance of home sewing to our Nation,” was the official explanation. It was signed  September 24, 1982.

“National Sewing Month is presented by Sewing & Craft Alliance in partnership with the American Sewing Guild,” reads the captions of the graphics representing National Sewing Month.
