My Goals

My blog reads that I have 461 followers. I am happy about this number. However, looking at the breakdown on my statistics I read a different number. My followers are broken down into three different categories.

1. Facebook followers 40 on my Raggz2Baggz page//On my Homepage I have 124 followers but they aren’t counted.
2. Twitter followers 371
3. Blog followers 52

So, my followers are mainly from Twitter. Most of them I hardly know, I enjoy their tweets.  My posts publicized immediately. As far as I can tell my tweets haven’t enticed anyone to follow my blog let alone read it. I wrote about having 100 followers by July of this year and I am 48 short.

But this is about my goals, not my crabbing…

Ways to increase readership & followers:

1. Write more posts.
2. Comment more on other writer’s blogs.
3. Listen to “search engine” listed on the daily stats.
4. Work harder on my inventory.
5. Take more photos of completed projects.
6. Move my computer into my studio.
7. Find a way to buy an Embroidery Sewing Machine.

One thing I know is I need to put some of my purses online. After all I do call myself the Bagg Lady! My alter-ego. I really have been side-tracked with CALs and creating a special gift for my up-coming giveaway. My time does need to be more evenly spent.

I am going to have more time without the boys, my son-in-law has changed his work schedule and my daughter is out of school for a few weeks. I miss the boys already. I tell myself I should work more since I have more time but mystery shopping doesn’t feed my desire to be a designer who actually sells her designs. So, sewing more and continuing to crochet is the answer. I will be putting some products on Etsy and some of them will be purses.
