..Oh My!!!

Here are two different approaches to footwear from two different designers.

Annoo from Annoo’s Crochet Designs has posted some very nice Spa Slippers. I really like the ideas she has for these because she used leather patches on the soles. These patches were made from a recycled purse. Anyone who reads this blog knows I not only encourage recycling but I recycle when I sew and craft! Her pattern is offered free on her blog. I think they would be very easy to customize the sizing on these slippers.

Adult Slippers

Emi Harrington has created some creative sandals/shoes. Her blog site is: hectanooga.com.  The shoe uses Flip-Flops  ( I bought mine at Kmart; 2 pair @ $1.99). I am excited to see these fun and durable shoes. Emi has produced a video tutorial to clearly explain the process of adding the flip-flops soles to the crocheted uppers. If you look below the video information and push the “more button” there are links for various styles of shoes she designed. Just like the Slippers from Annoo, the pattern appears to be easy to change the size of the shoe. Her patterns for the Espadrille style of sandal are available on Ravelry or  Craftsy for  $5.99.
