Notable Quotable by JR Ackerly: A dog has one aim in life… to bestow his heart.
“Rescue Me Ohio has partnered with Pug Rescue Bracelets; Denise is a jeweler with a heart. She custom makes beautiful bracelets with rescue charms on them and donates a percentage of the sales to our spotlight rescues. She even created RMO “exclusive” bracelets in red, black, and white–ask to see ours at our next event!
Rescue Me Ohio is a an all volunteer group of people that are heavily active in the animal rights & rescue community within our state. At this time we are not an animal rescues ourselves, but we do network homeless companion animals in hopes of finding fosters, rescues and/or adopters in order to avoid these animals being killed within the dog pound system.
Our mission is to lower the euthanasia rate of homeless companion animals in Ohio by facilitating transport, rescue and adoption.” From website for Rescue Me Ohio.
Beautiful Bracelets for a Beautiful Cause
Rating: A+++++ When I placed an order for a bracelet the designer, Denise, sent me an email confirming my choices of charms. I selected three charms; a pewter paw, until they have a home and who rescued who. The third charm was additional charm. Another custom feature was selecting the basic color scheme. My color choice was closely provided. With all the customization I spent only $21.00 including shipping. On the note from the seller I was told that the $$ from my donation would go to a shelter in my area.
My Dogs
I have had many dogs in my life. My first dog was given to me for my 13th birthday, his name was Muttley and I had him for ten years. Bubbles, a Powder Puff Chinese Crested is my current dog. I adopted her three years ago, she is now six years old. I looked at every shelter and rescue center in Oregon & Washington states. When we were connected she was in a Terrier rescue center in Northern Washington, they thought she was a large Yorkie. After my application was approved she was spayed, got her shots up to date and she was ID Chipped in her ear. I met the representative in Vancouver. It was LOVE at first sight!
Bubbles is very good with my grandchildren, she is tolerant with all they put her through. An amazing thing happened, Bubbles began to play ball with the kids. I tried to play with her many time and she never played with me!

How has your experience with pets? do you have a dog? or a cat? or whatever? I would love to hear about them.
Ta Ta until later, The Bagg Lady
